Information regarding the fire incident at Hotel Continental Park

On the evening of Sunday, 19 July 2026, a fire broke out in the attic of the Park building at Hotel Continental Park (corner of Morgartenstrasse and Murbacherstrasse).

The Continental building on Murbacherstrasse was not affected by the fire and remains fully operational.

All guests and employees were evacuated safely in time. No one was injured. The affected hotel guests received assistance and were accommodated in other hotels.

Hotel operations in the Continental building continue as normal. The Bellini Locanda Ticinese restaurant has also resumed its regular operations.
